CPDI DEPARTMENTS

Networking & Partnership Department

The department is responsible for identifying, engaging and recommending to the CPDI management for consideration of potential CPDI partners, CPDI mentors and CPDI consultants. It also facilitates CPDI partners, CPDI mentors and CPDI consultants’ networking forums.

Research, Publication & Communication Department

The department is responsible for identifying, researching, documenting and publishing (whenever necessary) of CPDI’s policies, products, etc. The program is also responsible for coordinating the development of the relevant skill based short courses training modules for implementation by the Professional Training department.

Training Department

The department is tasked with the responsibility of conducting CPDI approved market oriented skill based short courses. The training sessions are carried out by/ either: –

  1. CPDI Partners
  2. Renowned professionals with manifested expertise in their field of work
  3. CPDI accredited in-house faculty

CPDI consultants

Upon receipt of your the CPDI Consultant / CPDI partner online application form, the CPDI management will vet your application and either confirm, reject or ask you to furnish further information before making the final declaration of either accepting or rejecting your application.

 

To qualify as a CPDI consultant, you MUST meet the laid down criteria as established by the CPDI vetting board. After a successful vetting, you are then confirmed as a CPDI consultant. CPDI consultants are classified based on their academic qualifications, professional specialization, accreditation by professional bodies, exceptional skill, duration of service in a particular sector, position and standing in the society among other internationally accepted best practice and set standards.

Mentorship Department

The program focuses on purposeful guiding and exposing young people to sound career choices that will in-return make them a satisfied productive citizenry.  The CPDI Mentorship Department facilitates career guidance and professional inspiration to young people in institutions of learning in Kenya and in particular secondary schools, colleges and universities.

 

CPDI mentors offer guidance to young students on the skills needed to become successful in their career choices, personal and professional lives. The Mentoring Department seeks to empower students to make better life choices and overcome personal and employment barriers that will enable them to succeed.

CPDI Mentors are professionals with expertise in particular fields backed up by a distinguished industrious career with capacity to nurture the young scholarly minds by offering the requisite support, promoting model desirable behaviors and  building self esteem among the young learners.
